1-1 ghair growth challenge-2

So it is finally here you guys! Since some of you wanted to know what my hair care routine is for growing my hair long this summer so I decided to lay it all out here. So that if you are joining this Hair Growth Challenge you can follow along if you want to.

Firsts things first- “LET’S MEASURE OUR HAIR ON THE 4TH OF MAY.”

So here are the following steps to it.

  1. Inversion Method-So for 7 days starting May 4 to May 10 we are going to be inverting our heads, but however I will only oil my hair 3 times throughout the week, but however you can totally oil your hair for 7 days if you want to as well. If you don’t know what the Inversion method is please check the video down below for reference.

2. After 7 days of the Inversion method, I will be using my DIY hair growth mask 2 times a week and any hair masks that I have here that specifically promotes hair growth. If you are doing this with me feel free to use whatever it is that you have in mind, but if you want a guide here are some that I can recommend.

If you want a ready made one. Here is my go to hair mask if I don’t have time to make my own or if I am travelling because it is very ideal for me to bring it anywhere. You can get it here: http://bit.ly/1KkLs8j

For the DIY’s:

3. Leave in Hair Growth Serum- I will use this every other day on my scalp. NOTE: If you feel that your scalp is getting too oily because of this, then feel free to stop using it.

4. Take in Hair Vitamins- I am personally taking a Hair, Skin, Nails Vitamins and I am taking it along with Zinc & Magnesium because I find that it helps my skin not to breakout. You can use whatever brand you have available but probably one of my favorites would be the Vitalize Hair, Skin & Nails Vitamins. YOU CAN FIND IT HERE-> http://www.vitalizehair.com/#_a_0123

5. Use Shampoos and Conditioners that Promotes Hair Growth- Now you can go for the natural shampoos or either you can also go for the regular shampoos as well. I’m using both because during my oiling days I will need to use a clarifying shampoo to actually get rid of the excess oils on my hair.

That’s it. I made it very simple for now so that you don’t get overwhelmed and this is just the start of it so let me know if you have any concerns or if you are joining in the comments down below.

And most of all let’s have fun and enjoy our hair growth progress.

Much Love,

Keren

1--vitalize-hair-challenge thumbnail

1-Vitalize-hair-blank02-products

This is a 3 way system to growing healthy long and thick hair.

  1. The first step is to use the hair serum which is the Follicle Stem Cell Serum that contains Redensyl that is the key ingredient to stimulate your hair follicles to promote hair regrowth.
  2. The second step is to apply the Hair and Scalp Treatment Oil which conditions and keeps both your scalp and hair healthy. It is very important that we take care of our scalp because it is where are hair is situated so it has to be in good condition at all times.
  3. The last step is to take in the Vitalize Hair, Skin, Nails Vitamin Supplement. I cannot stress enough that nutrition does play a huge role in making your hair grow faster. I’ma actually really impressed by the key ingredients of it because it contains Goji Berry, Ginger, Ginseng, Angelica root, cinnamon, etc. the lists goes on and on which has also great health benefits for your body and not only for your hair.

So as of today I finished doing the steps and I am so excited to give you guys my two weeks update. If you guys want to know more info about this and learn more how this system works them you can visit them here-> http://www.vitalizehair.com/#_a_0123

That Time When I had Shorter Hair And My Sister Was Longer Hair Than Mine

1-pic-version-2

Ok, let’s throw it super way back when I had medium length hair and I had layers and my sister’s hair was longer than mine. I had so many fun memories in this photoshoot. My cousin actually took this photo because she was practicing her photography skills so she got us as her models.

In here we tried to look dramatic as possible as baby powder or was it flour?  was thrown at our faces for special effects. Lol. Anyway, I posted this because some of you won’t believe me when I say that I actually had a phase in my life to where my hair was in a medium length before so, yes, I do know the struggle of wanting to make my hair grow long fast.

Also, as I’ve said  it took me some time to grow out my hair while also getting rid of my layers. I had to be patient and since I can’t magically make my hair grow long overnight, I simply just enjoyed my hair growth journey.

Here is another photo of me. Oh, did I mention I also had little side fringe too?! Haha…

I’ll post more here if I can find more photos of my hair before. Also, let me know what you think of my medium length hair? I know some of you can’t really picture me with short hair but here it is.

Much love,

Keren

DIY Leave In Scalp Serum For Hair Growth, Dandruff & Dry Scalp-Prevent Hair Loss and Lice-Beautyklove

Some of you have been asking me to do a DIY addressing the issues above so here it is.

So first we will be using:

  1. Aloe Vera Gel Plant- Aloe Vera is a great natural moisturizer for the skin so this can help treat dandruff,  dry and flaky scalp and any scalp issues you may have and it also can help reduce sebum or excess oils on the scalp and Aloe Vera also promotes hair growth. If you don’t have an Aloe Vera plant or if it is not accessible to you then you can always use the product down below as a substitute.

2.  Tea Tree Oil-This is great for treating itchy scalp, dandruff, lice, psoriasis on the scalp,  it stimulates blood flow also encourages hair growth and it prevents hair loss. it promotes  a healthy scalp because it has some anti bacterial properties that can help prevent any  scalp infections that can sometimes hinder your hair to grow. What I am using here is a ready-made one by the way if you want to go for the just the pure tea tree oil, you will have dilute it with another carrier oil because tea tree oil it is an essential oil so you can’t put that directly on your scalp, but if you don’t want the hassle of doing that you simply get a ready-made one like the one I am using.

Procedure:

  • If you are using the Aloe Vera plant remove the thorny sides of the Aloe Vera leaf and then remove the top part if the skin and then scrap out the Aloe Vera gel.
  • In a blender combined both the Aloe Vera gel and the Tea Tree Oil make sure to blend it properly because you don’t want any Aloe Vera bits to get stuck on your hair. You can use a strainer if you want to be sure.
  • After that you can store it in any container that you’d like.

And once you do that it will look something like this.

1-DIY-serum-3.jpg

How to use it:

  • You can use this every other day or in times to where your scalp feels dry.
  • Do not put too much of it so that your scalp is not going to become oily.
  • Focus this on your scalp alone not your hair.

DIY Leave In Hair Conditioner for Dry Damaged & Tangled Hair-Beautyklove

As requested here is my version on how I make my own DIY Leave in hair Conditioner for dry and damaged hair.

So here are my ingredients:

  • Water- The amount depends on much your are making.
  • Conditioner- ( Preferably a Silicone free) Here is conditioner that I used.

Tesco Coconut And Almond Milk Conditioner

1-diy-conditioner-2.jpg

  • Oils- You can use any oils of your choice. You can go for the natural cold-pressed oils on your hair, but for me I prefer to use the leave on oils because I find it way lighter on the hair so it doesn’t weigh down the hair at all plus it doesn’t leave that pungent smell on your hair and it actually makes your hair smell good. So here are the oils that I used.

VIA Natural Ultra Care Argan Oil Concentrated Natural Oil 1.5oz – Promotes Hair Growth Makes Hair Stronger & Healthier – 3 Pack

VIA Natural Ultra Care Tea Tree Oil Concentrated Natural Oil 1.5oz – Promotes A Healthy Scalp & Clean Hair. Natural Antibacterial Oil, Helps Control Dryness and Dandruff – 6 Pack

  • Empty spray bottle- This is gong to make it easy for you to apply it on your hair.

Procedure:

  • Just mix them all together and then transfer that into your spray bottle. Give it a shake to make sure everything is all combined and then you are ready to spray that on your hair.

How to use:

  • You can use this either on wet or damp hair or after you get out of the shower or either you can use it on your dry hair and spray it anytime throughout the day you think your hair needs moisturizing.
